Canadian Alliance of Naturopathic Regulatory Authorities
Established informally in 2016, CANRA has steadily grown in terms of its relevance to naturopathic regulation in Canada. Within two years, members took the first steps towards formalizing the alliance and by October of 2020, CANRA was incorporated.
CANRA’s mission is to protect the integrity of naturopathic regulation by educating and unifying jurisdictions toward the collective goal of public health and safety.
Establishing a Collective Voice for the National Regulation of Naturopathy
By 2025, CANRA aims to be the framework for collaboration on key regulatory issues, national policies, and government decision-making in the regulation of naturopathic practice in Canada. We aim to develop national standards of practice and competencies to provide quality naturopathic healthcare to all Canadians.
